Lined Splash Pants Black Taffeta

Kids’ splash pants in plain black, lined with polyester taffeta, come in sizes 2 to 14 and pull on over school clothes for wet recess and muddy park visits. School recess in wet weather calls for rain pants with a taffeta lining and sealed seams.

Every seam is sealed on this black pair, and Deux par Deux rates the coated recycled polyester shell at 10,000 mm.

Thanks to an elastic waistband and gathered ankle cuffs, these black splash pants tug on quickly over sneakers. Each leg of the taffeta-lined pair carries a thin reflective stripe down the side, with a brown d logo patch on one thigh.

This is the big-kid cut of the black taffeta-lined style, and babies can wear the separate Lined Baby Splash Pants made in 12 to 24 month sizes.

Over the taffeta-lined pants, girls can layer a rain jacket from girls’ coats and jackets, while boys choose theirs from boys’ coats and jackets. For stomping through puddles at recess, both girls’ rain boots and boys’ rain boots have pairs to wear with them.
